The biggest mistake an owner makes is putting their very expensive boat on a lift and then forgetting and or neglecting that boat lift. Failure is imminent and damage will occur.

Lift Service

A lift should be serviced quarterly (every three months). All moving points, drive pipes, flat plates / drives, and pulleys must be serviced. The cables need to be inspected and properly maintained to ensure usability and functionality year after year. In fact, they should be replaced every two years. Yes, that's right! the only items that are not warranty from the manufacturer are the cables...even brand new! These are your lifting points.

Our comprehensive service includes:

• Tighten Pile Bolts, bunk bolts, guide post bolts, pulley axle bolts, cable hanger bolts (all bolts)

• Tighten belts and Pulleys as needed on motors

• Grease worm gears and pulleys

• Grease bearing points on drive pipes 

• Check sheaves and cables for wear

• Inspect cables

• Apply proper HD Marine grade anti-corrosion protectant to applicable parts

All of our materials we use are Marine Grade, Heavy Duty, and or top quality materials. We utilize a quality Lubricant that will not attract and collect dust or debris on the surface of the cables and moving parts. After all, your very expensive and high dollar vessel sits on top of your lift...give the best TLC you can so your vessel will always be useable.

We have all seen and heard our neighbors non-maintained lifts when they turn them on. The noise is deafening and it is just a matter of time before the lift fails.

Lift Doctors will come out and provide the services required to maintain your lift. The motors will be inspected (gears and chains/belts) and serviced accordingly. Any electrical and or actual motor issues will be identified.

Davit Repairs

Yes, we can make your old and experienced davits work like new again. 

 

Replacement services

Over time, parts become defective. This service is available for defective parts or parts the require replacement.

Pre-Purchase Inspections - Are you are buying a water front home and require an expert to evaluate the condition of the boat lift on the home site, call us to schedule. You need to know that you are buying a useable lift prior to closing. Negotiation power is second to none.
